Elective · Family and consumer science
Family and Consumer Science (Home Economics)
Middle 6–8, High School 9–12 · PLECK original
PLECK original. This course was written for this school.
This is a PLECK elective for food care, clothing, spending practice, home care, and family tasks. It is not Exercise and Nutrition, Strong and Healthy, or Consumer Math. One hundred eighty lessons are loaded in twelve units. An adult supervises. Allergies, heat, and cleaning are named on the lesson. Spending is none or a simulation: no bank account and no family financial records. Photos stay private. A typed note, a photo, or paper handed to a parent is always enough. A private PDF, image, audio, or video up to 4 MB can be added when a lesson allows it. No video clips are assigned. Looking at this page does not enroll a student, and finishing a lesson does not by itself add a transcript credit.
Learning outcomes
- Follow an assigned household task with an adult.
- Show the work with a note, a checklist, or a private photo.
- Leave out bank details and other people's private information.
